I recently designed and coded a “Be A Dork” app for the book series The Dork Diaries. The project was built in actionscript 3 using artwork customized for the app by the author / illustrator of the series. The application lets you create your custom avatar and then place it into a comic strip with text you select. After creating your comic you can save it to your desktop or share it via your social networks.
