Our last destination was London where we stayed with Emma and Tim. We were only there for 2 1/2 days and we definitely needed a lot more time there to really explore. Check out the photos and my commentary below.
Some kids next to us had their own private car and were dancing all crazy on the London Eye.

Our next stop after an overnight train ride was Amsterdam where we stayed in Dam Square, which I supposed is their equivalent to Times Square. I think the street parallel to the one our hotel was on had nine or ten H&M stores which is a bit absurd. On our second day we rented some bikes and cruised around the canals. The architecture of the buildings was really unique, including some of the buildings that seemed to lean sideways into each other. While we were there we caught Camera Obscura at a club there named the Paradiso (pictured below). We also drank about ten cups of coffee a day, which always came with a different small cookie. I think we need to adopt that over here. Read on for more photos.

My girlfriend and I went on a trip to Europe last week visiting some friends in Munich, Amsterdam and London. This was my first time traveling abroad, well beyond Canada, but that doesn’t count. Our first stop was Munich, it was a beautiful city with delicious food, great museums and a public transportation system that was way more efficient then the NYC subway system despite it being mostly in German!
Photo posts of London and Amsterdam coming soon. For now click read more for some photographs from München!
